Our commitment
The Sophiana Foundation is committed to making this website accessible and inclusive. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as a standard, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort.
What we’ve done
- Semantic, structured HTML and clear headings.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, forms, and the media lightbox.
- Visible focus states and sufficient color contrast.
- Respect for the “reduce motion” setting — animations are minimized for people who prefer less movement.
- Responsive layouts that work across devices and zoom levels.
Known limitations
Some third-party embedded content (such as video players) may not be fully under our control. We work to choose accessible providers and to improve any gaps we find.
